The 2025 Portland Seafood Festival Wine Competition – presented by Holiday Inn Portland (Columbia Riverfront) – is the first commercial competition of the year. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded, with no set number of medals awarded. One Best of Show Medal will be awarded in Red and White categories.
Rules For Entry
- Competition open to all bonded and licensed wineries participating in the 2024 Portland Seafood & Wine Festival
- There is no limit to the number of entries that you may submit.
- Three (3) bottles (750ml, or 375 ml for dessert wines) and entry fee ($45, non refundable) must be submitted for each entry.
- By submitting an entry you affirm that the entry conforms to all regulations and standards, state & federal.
Entry Instructions:
- If you already have an account: log into your account –> update the wines you wish to enter –> go to Easy Enter and select the Portland Seafood and Wine Festival.
- If you do not have an account: click on Register to create an account. Once you have entered your contact info you will go to the My Wines tab to list your wines and then to Easy Enter to enter into the competition.
- After you have entered you can go to the My Competitions tab and print the packing slip which should be presented or shipped along side your wines.
- PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PAY ONLINE, YOU MUST MAIL PAYMENT.
- Judging occurs the week of February 20. All wines must be received by February 16.

2025 Winners
This past Friday was the judging for the PSWF Wine Competition at Holiday Inn Portland – Columbia Riverfront. There were 127 entries and ( 2 ) Best of Shows, ( 8 ) Double Gold Medals, ( 17 ) Gold Medals, ( 55 ) Silver Medals and ( 31 ) Bronze awards were bestowed.
111 Medal winners out of 127 wines!! That is unheard of, and these aren’t “participation” awards; our judges were being very discerning on the awarding of medals. As a couple of them said “This is just simply one of the best collections of wine I have ever judged.”
